AMERICAN Flow Control’s Series 3500 Gate Valve Is Dependable Under Pressure

AMERICAN Flow Control's 3500 Series resilient wedge gate valve is available in sizes 4-12 inches.

AMERICAN Flow Control is introducing its Series 3500 resilient wedge gate valve for use in drinking water, wastewater and fire protection systems that might need a higher pressure rating. With its ductile iron construction, the Series 3500 resilient wedge gate valve meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI/AWWA C515, is UL Listed and FM Approved in applicable configurations at 350 psi, and is available in sizes 4-12 inches.

“At AMERICAN, we believe in doing things The Right Way. The Series 3500 gate valve uses the same time-proven design and the same parts as our 250 psi rated Series 2500 gate valve,” said Derek Scott, AMERICAN Flow Control Marketing and Technical manager. “The difference is in the higher pressure rating – with the same reliability that our customers have come to know and trust for years.”

AMERICAN Flow Control is a division of AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company, founded in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1905. AMERICAN manufactures ductile iron pipe, spiral-welded steel pipe, fire hydrants and valves for the waterworks industry and electric-resistance-welded steel pipe for the oil and natural gas industries.
