Twelve teams with AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company raised $8,538 for Junior Achievement during the organization’s annual bowl-a-thon Sunday, exceeding AMERICAN’s goal of $5,000. Junior Achievement educates students in grades K through 12 on workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

Randolph Fowler and his team, the ACIPCO Rollers were the top fundraisers with $2,549, followed closely by Tungye Harrison and her ACIPCO Federal Credit Union team, Divas, with $2,430. Robert Parker and his team, Shape N’ Up, finished with the highest bowling score, 2,983 pins in three games.

“Fundraising was great this year, and I’m so excited we exceeded our goal,” said Jeanie Lawley, who oversaw the company event this year. “Thanks to everyone for making this an awesome year for Junior Achievement.”
