Charles R. Waldrop was recently named electrical department superintendent at AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Company.

Waldrop began working in the electrical department at AMERICAN in 1976 and completed his electrician’s apprenticeship in 1980. He was promoted to electrical shift foreman in 2002 and foreman PCC (power, communications and construction) in 2007.

He served six years in the Alabama National Guard and is a member of the ACIPCO Leadership Association.
